To enroll, you choose a health plan and a doctor. Enroll on line, by phone, or by mail. You can enroll if you have Medical Assistance and, either you were told by your County Assistance Office to enroll, or you got an enrollment packet in the mail.

Enroll right away! If you don’t enroll, a health plan and a doctor (PCP) will be chosen for you. Please do not let that happen!

Important changes for Aetna Better Health & CoventryCares members

CoventryCares is merging with Aetna Better Health. On October 1, 2014 CoventryCares members will become Aetna Better Health members.

What do I have to do?

If you are in Aetna Better Health Plan, you do not have to do anything.

If you are in CoventryCares, here are your options:

  1. If you are happy with your plan you do not have to do anything. On October 1, 2014 you will become an Aetna Better Health member and you will receive an ID card in the mail.
  2. If you wish to change your plan, click here to see your plan options or,
  3. Click here to see if your doctor participates with Aetna Better Health or to find out which plans have your doctors in their network. You may also call PA Enrollment Services at
    1-800-440-3989 to talk with someone who can help you. You can call Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 6 PM..

I want to change my plan. When do I have to make a choice?
If you decide to change your plan, you must choose a new plan no later than September 11, 2014.

Can I keep getting the care I need if I decide to stay with Aetna Better Health?
Yes. Aetna Better Health plan will make sure you keep getting the care you need.

Does this affect other household members?
This notice may apply to all members enrolled in Aetna Better Health & CoventryCares.
